Grants
In 2009, the Racine Community Foundation awarded $1.34 million in grants, primarily in the following categories:
- Arts and culture
- Environment
- Community development
- Health
- Education
- Human services
Within these broad areas of concern, the Foundation looks specifically for programs that:
- Positively impact on the community.
- Show promise but need testing in the community.
- Deal with basic community needs.
- Will benefit discernibly with a Community Foundation grant.
