Racine Explorer Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps

The Racine Explorer Scouts has been a part of the cultural landscape of Racine for more than 80 years. The corps has provided entertainment for thousands of area residents and has given musical and moral education to many young men and women. They are the oldest continually competitive junior drum and bugle corps in the United States and also the oldest musical Scouting unit in North America.

In 2008, the Racine Community Foundation awarded a grant to the Explorer Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps that was used for the purchase of new marching percussion instruments.
