Over Our Head Players

In 2009, the Over Our Head Players, Inc., (OOHPs), received a grant to assist with a project of a Dinner Theater at Festival Hall, Racine, for the production of “Leaving Iowa.” The objective of this grant was to expand the theatrical experience for patrons and provide the community with a new entertainment experience, along with utilizing other downtown facilities and organizations. This production was a success.

The OOHPs have been producing plays since 1992. In 1999, they opened the 6^th Street Theatre, at 318 6^th street, Racine, and have been operating from that space ever since. The OOHPs strive to present fresh and unique theatre in a professional manner to Southeast Wisconsin. They provide an artistic experience for many volunteers and continue to introduce theatre to new audiences.
